Calligraphy Gallery

This section introduces some calligraphies, Chinese-Japanese traditional art of letters, of my aunt, Aiko Morita. She has been the master of calligraphy, and was awarded Ogishi Prize, named after the great ancient Chinese calligrapher, Ogishi (Wang Xi Zhi).

Muryoju -- 無量寿: A phrase from Buddhist script. Strong throbbing.
Spring breeze -- 春風に下行く波の数見えて...: An elegant art work, featuring a Japanese short verse.
Esteem and Prosperity -- 尊栄: A powerful brush with a word of Mencius.
